- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I normally like to work on a negotiated flat rate. I will only charge by hour in the event that I my client has me travelling extensively for an event or the event is 5 hours or more.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will ask that a customer visit my website and schedule an initial consultation. Consultation fees are due at the time of appointment via our website only. From there I will take the prospective client through what we offer as well as fill out an online form that will give me an idea of what the client would like for their event.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mother used to make wedding dresses and bridal party gowns. I started assisting in the wedding planning process for her clients and also did calligraphy for invitations. I then started planning tea parties and birthday parties while in college.
