FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each overnight stay costs $45 per night with 0-1 dog. Each additional pet costs $25 per night. Day stays of up to 12 hours are $35 for one pet and $15 for each additional. 15-30 minute drop-in pet visits cost $25 for one pet. Each additional dog costs $10 per visit. Other types of pets are negotiable depending on my time spent and the type of care needed. I will make up to 2 or 3 drop-ins per day depending on time and mileage. I charge 35 cents a mile round trip from my house to yours for each drop-in and for 1 trip home per day to care for my own pets during sittings. I charge up to double for sittings and drop-ins during Holiday weeks. 7-day notice of cancelation required. 4-6 day notice = 50% refund. 1-3 day notice of cancelation = 25% refund. No notice = no refund.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet & greet client(s) and pet(s) within 2 days of booking to make sure we all get along. If the booking is confirmed, I will return 1-2 days before the job starts to reacquaint with pet(s) so I won't be a stranger entering their house when they are home alone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
60 years of living with, caring for and/or training pets. I started Sue Let The Dogs Out! in October of 2022. At this time, I have more repeat clients than new or one-timers. I have lost some clients due to the loss of their pets or clients moving away.
