They two guys did great! We were a bit behind schedule but other than that they worked fast and also accommodated me having more furniture to build. Furniture was built nicely!

Demetrius and his team saved the day for a young couple yesterday. Here’s what happened: I offered a large sofa and ottoman on FB and advised that a truck would be needed to move it. A young couple had just moved from VA to NC and they needed it b/c they moved here with no furniture. They arrived in a small SUV thinking “it’s a truck”. The sofa, of course, did not fit. I wanted this couple to have the furniture so I put out sort of an “SOS” on Thumbtack. Within minutes I heard from Demetrius. Within an hour he and his partner were at my house and had loaded the sofa, ottoman, cushions, blanket, and an air mattress onto their box truck.

Together we welcomed a lovely young family to NC. It cost me a couple hundred bucks, it cost Demetrius and team a few hours — but together we were able to help two people in need. Priceless!
Thank you, Demetrius, from the bottom of my heart!

Details: Just a few things • Movers + truck(s) • 31 - 50 miles • Load via stairs • Unload flat; no stairs or elevator

These guys are AMAZING!! We bought a power recliner sofa that was much larger and heavier than we realized. We couldn’t get it in the elevator for hours late on a Saturday night with snow expected the next morning. We’d lost hope already but reached out to Irongate and they were here in no time and had the sofa through the elevator and in the apartment in less than 15 minutes. At 10pm on a Saturday night. Not a scuff on the sofa. Executed flawlessly. Thank you so much!!!

Details: 1 large item • 1-10 small items • Sofa • Under 5 miles • One or more flights of stairs
