I began playing guitar at the age of six, teaching in high school and recently graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. I take pride in teaching students of all levels. What I like most about learning with Zack is that he works with your interests, and breaks it all down into tangible lessons to make a plan to reach your musical goals, whatever they may be. He is very passionate about music and genuinely wants to help others broaden their musical abilities. He will encourage you to explore what excites and interests you. Zach was simply an outstanding guitar teacher. His technical ability and knowledge of music theory are equally superb, and he effectively taught the instrument with concision and clarity. He articulately helped me conceptualize the learning points and put them into practice. After our sessions, I can say with confidence my playing has markedly improved and I'm even playing shows in Washington, DC now. Being someone who only explored music in grade school. I was apprehensive taking on the guitar. Zack worked with me at my pace while still providing me with challenges that nourished progression. His patience, effort and genuine hope to see me succeed made our lessons educational but also a good time. Not to mention he is immensely talented!
