- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every event is customized, so pricing depends on guest count, menu selections, and service style. After a quick conversation about what you’re envisioning, I provide a clear quote with no hidden fees. My pricing typically includes menu planning, grocery shopping, travel within the local area, on-site preparation, service, and full kitchen cleanup. I focus on smaller gatherings and private dining experiences rather than large-scale catering, which allows me to give each client more attention and a higher level of detail. Because ingredients are purchased fresh and menus are planned specifically for your event, dates are reserved with a deposit once the menu and details are finalized.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a short conversation to learn about your event — the occasion, number of guests, food preferences, and any dietary needs or allergies. From there I design suggested menu options and we make adjustments together until it fits exactly what you’re looking for. Once the menu is finalized, I handle the grocery shopping and arrive ahead of service time to cook on-site. Courses are served at a relaxed pace so you can enjoy your evening and spend time with your guests. After the meal, I package leftovers if desired and leave the kitchen clean so you can simply enjoy the experience without any work afterward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended culinary school and have worked in a variety of professional kitchens including hotels, resorts, and healthcare foodservice. Over time I advanced into leadership roles and served as an Executive Chef, where I was responsible for menu development, kitchen operations, and staff training. I am also ServSafe certified, which means I follow professional food safety and sanitation standards when working in a client’s home. My background allows me to combine creativity with organization and consistency so events run smoothly and meals are prepared properly.
