I signed up for a 3-class trial during Barbara's first visit. Initially, I was only interested in private training, but she talked me to group class saying it would be more beneficial. My dog and I went through the group training, though I really did not feel each course was worth the time since we basically went over the same stuffs all the time. Later what surprised me to a great extent was that Barbara stood me up on our second private class. Regardless my numerous attempts to communicate, she ignored. I tried text messages, emails, calls with voice messages (she even hang up on me one time). Three months later after multiple attempts, I finally decided to show up in one of her classes to find out what's exactly going on. During our conversation, she tried to make up excuses and pretended that she did not hear from me while I have all the evidence that she got contacted by me through different formats. We settled by me receiving the refund for private class, but in fact I did not care at all after wasting my time and energy. I would not recommend her training to anyone and I am extremely disappointed by her and her services, I still can not believe this is what happened!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that you are comfortable with the training methods and the equipment that are going to be used on your dog. If the trainer won't show you, or let you observe a class, I suggest that you look for another trainer. Training should never cause your dog pain or fear.
