I was given a thorough inspection and was told what had to be done. I had my water heater replaced and the mold removed. Everything that had been soaked with water was replaced and remodel. I was met by good construction workers who came on time and finished the project in an orderly time. Mr Lindamood the Project manager overseen the whole project and made sure all my needs were met. I was given a great price on the work and installation. I have recommened them to my neighbors, friends and family for future projects. Thankyou OCI again."See more

What’s more, once the work was done Everett told me that the work was less labor intensive than expected and charged me less than the initial quote when he certainly didn’t have to. Really bad experience with these guys. Didn’t even try to solve a simple plumbing problem. Sent ian intern to find problem, when intern couldn’t find problem, the boss just gave up after he got off his other phone calls. They left with nothing fixed and charged a $79 apology fee.

Josh did an amazing job with my toilet. It was a bear. Small tank, very small duel flush valve that he needed to special order (attention briar chapel folks!) and terrible water quality in regards to the bolts on the toilet! This guy came out twice, and always with a smile and ultimate professionalism. Any plumbing need I have (and I have the worst luck with toilets) josh is my guy!!! A+++++

Clayton did an excellent work! My main water line was punctured during a soil capacity test. Despite the bad weather, he came to repair it. I was impressed w/ his creative solution as the original parts needed were not readily available. His price is very fair. I highly recommend him and would call him before closing the deal w/ any large "established plumbing company".

Adam and Company plumbing came to my townhome for a faucet that was dripping and diverter for the shower that wasn't working. They quoted $1500 to fix these and if I wanted to change the PRV, then it would be $2000. I paid the $50 diagnostic fee. They said they are not the lowest price and not the highest and are in the middle. I got the work done by a plumber for $153 parts and labor. I am glad I only wasted $50. I gave them two stars instead of one because they are friendly and communicative.

He was the first to respond to me regarding a leak & said he’d give me an eta to get here before the end of day. He didn’t come that day but assured me he’d almost for sure come the next and he’d send the eta when he knew it. He didn’t come that day either but assured me again he come the next. He finally did however I felt like he had strung me along. He quoted a price for the work and I approved. I made out the check to the business name listed on Thumbtack for the amount quoted. When he finished I gave him the check. When he looked at it he said he needed me to write a check with just his first and last name and at a higher amount than what he quoted. I gave him the benefit of the doubt about the higher bill even though I was almost certain that he quoted a lower amount but wondered why he didn’t want a check with his company name. He came back the next day to do a separate small job and quoted $200. I wrote the check out and gave it to him. Sure enough he pulled the same scam he used the day before. He told me he quoted me $250 which he most definitely did not. This time I refused to pay him more than what he quoted. The next day I received a call from Abdul Check Cashing. Abdul asked if I had given James Rogers two checks. Abdul wanted to make sure the checks weren’t stolen from me. I confirmed that I wrote James two checks. I asked Abdul why someone would use a check cashing service when they have a business. James told me he owned the plumbing company and had 3 other plumbers that worked for him. Abdul told me people that use his service usually don’t have a bank account. This explained why he didn’t want the check made out to the “business” name he used on Thumbtack. Not a bad way to hide one’s income. In summary, I’d never use him again as he clearly proved his untrustworthiness. I hoped Thumbtack would have done a more thorough background check of the people they promote to filter out scammers.
