This was my first going to this establishment after hearing about it in a Facebook reel. I was a little taken aback when I first walked in. I didn't see a counter as in a traditional place. It didn't take long to figure out that there were several kiosk pads on the far wall. Apparently, there are others eateries working out of the same space. I found Kristy's and proceeded to place my order, a really easy process. I ordered the Ponchatrain Platter w/ catfish, Cajun fries, and the Red Beans & Rice. My order came out within 10 minutes brought to me by a beautiful person both in and out. It turns out to be Ms. Kristy herself!!! When I got home and began to eat.....OMG!!! This food is GREAT!!! I loved everything. The only thing I didn't like was the sausage in the red beans & rice, as I don't eat meat, and there was no indication on the menu that there was. Cajun fries were fantastic! Fried catfish was seasoned perfectly. However, parking was atrocious! I had to park like a block and a half away, but it was worth it. I'd walk a mile for some Kristy's!!! It's that good to me. I will definitely be back.

This place was fantastic. I got the fried catfish and my wife got a spicy chicken sandwich. She said the sandwich was the best she's had anywhere and my catfish was perfect. The server was incredibly helpful and the food came out hot and fresh. I'd consider this place a hidden gem in the area.

First Id like to say that the staff was extremely nice including the owner coming out to check if I liked my food. Didnt know it was a ghost kitchen.Unfortunately, I did not love the food like I thought I would. I got two things:crab claws: surprised to see they were so small but they are not the actual claw just the pinchers. They threw in 3 or 4 extra so that was kind, BUT it was super salty, overly breaded, dried out, and almost no meat (I was able to break the end off and crumble it as it was mostly breading). It was almost $20 for just that so it was not worth it in my opinion. 4/10Fish and grits: fish was amazing 8.5-9/10 best part of meal. only issue is in the picture when you order there are 3 pieces of fish and I was shocked to see only 1 so kinda false advertisement there. The grits with sauce was 7.5/10 without sauce 6/10. Grits were loose (but some people like that I just like mine with some thickness to it) and was bland by itself(better when I warmed it up later for left overs). $21 I can understand the price but not worth a second buy for me.My friend liked her catfish poboy and said the gumbo was great. Ill give it another shot because of owners passion.
