Edgar from Alta came out the other day and he's great to work with! He's up front about what is going on, great with the kids, and goes above and beyond with helpful information about keeping bugs away. We were the last stop for the day and it was late, but he still had a great attitude. I'd recommend Alta for your general pestcontrol issues.

Alta is amazing! I signed up with them about a year ago when I moved into my new house. I needed pestcontrol because I have a small dog and didn’t want all the pesky insects that attract rodents and then snakes. I also needed something let friendly since my pup goes outside often. Not only are their products safe for pets they are safe for plants as well. They pre treated my yard and came back a couple of weeks later for the first treatment and very 3-4 months. Once I felt I saw more bugs than normal and they came out promptly after my call to set up the appointment, and it didn’t cost me extra.

I am very pleased with Alta. The product is great and the service is top notch. Our technician, Antoine, always does an amazing job. He's been our technician for almost a year and everytime he comes, he is thorough in his work, he is patient and knowledgeable, and I can tell that he likes what he does and cares about people's home and property. I couldn't ask for a better technician, a better service, or a better product. I've used them for ants, spiders, a rodent, termite inspection, and yard maintenance to keep our property free from ticks/ fleas since we have a kids and a dog.

We moved in a year ago and had quite a few bug issues. Alta has been great at coming out in between services if we see anything. Since we’ve moved in the bugs have decreased by so so much, we rarely see small bugs anymore and we never see cockroaches. Their customer service is great and their exterminators are wonderful to chat with you and give you tips or things the client can do to prevent issues.

My wife signed up for the Alta service last night at 6:00pm to have them come out today and as well as quarterly. they were here before 3:pm the next day, were extremely professional. They detailed to us what they were doing and and why. they sprayed the crown molding inside the house as a free courtesy in all of the rooms and the garage. They then quickly sprayed all of the outside of the house and removed any spider webs and potentially trouble areas. Both Antonio and Edgar explained how their service worked, what we could do if we needed them to come out again off schedule, and were very polite. We appreciate the great service and details that they provided. I would recommend Alta to friends and family and thank Antonio and Edgar for their diligence.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Right now we are currently pricing Thumbtack customers at a discounted rate in hopes to boost our presence on the site.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We find out what pests they're dealing with, and send them a quote. Upon the technician's arrival he checks in with the customer and performs an inspection of the property. He treats the property accordingly and gives recommendations on how to best proceed going forward to keep the property pest free.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We believe the best way to learn pest control is being hands on. Though all our technicians are well studied and licensed, their best attribute is the years of experience doing the job correctly. The owners and service managers come from years of experience working with different companies in the industry before coming to Alta, bringing a more complete and diversified approach to how to get the job done.
