FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is simple and fair. I usually work with Thumbtack’s recommended estimate, but I also review the number of items, the complexity of the job, and whether the listed price matches the actual work. If the app estimate does not fully match the project, I explain the adjustment before starting.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I review the project details first and may ask for pictures, instructions, or model information. Once I understand the work, I confirm the price, schedule, and location. When I arrive, I inspect the items, confirm that the parts and hardware are available, and complete the work carefully.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up around hands-on repair and assembly work. As a child, I spent school breaks and vacations around mechanic and generator repair shops. I also grew up helping with furniture assembly, moving-related projects, home setup, and small repair jobs. That experience helped me become practical, patient, and detail-oriented.
