I contracted with Artistic Hardscape to build a patio and stairs. The work was not finished and the owner offered an insufficient refund to finish the job.
The owner (Joe Kushner) asked me to have the builder allow him to stage material on an undeveloped lot while the work was done. I did so. After the week of work Joe told me the small amount of gravel left on the builders lot could be used by another contractor that was working on my neighbor's house. This saved Joe form having to clean it up. When Joe came back in 6 weeks to finish the stairs he said would bring me. It was a very small amount of gravel.
When Joe came back in 6 weeks and saw that I had the other contractor do work that Joe had bid on he became extremely upset and said he would not finish my stairs because the gravel was used. Instead he offered an insufficient refund check and expects things to be okay.
Do not do business with this person and do not pay for anything in advance.
