The guys showed up a little late but let me know ahead of time which was good. They were polite, hardworking, and moved some really heavy stuff. Moved an Allstate office from Charlotte Waxhaw. The price was fair and would definitely use again. Thanks guys.

Hornet helped me with a local move in Charlotte recently (Dec '17). They have great rates and there were absolutely no hidden fees. The online availability & scheduling is extremely convenient. My movers were Josh and DJ- they were right on time for my 9am move, and never stopped/slowed until the job was done. They did a great job planning how to lay out everything in the truck to prevent movement (I didn't really have enough to fill the space- 1bdrm apartment with office), and had plenty of straps and furniture pads etc. They were very courteous, and careful with my belongings. They also made sure they were bringing everything to the right rooms in the new house. One single item was damaged, a 6ft tall cat tree, but Hornet reimbursed me for the item immediately once I emailed photos to the office (as instructed by movers) with absolutely zero debate/argument. These things happen, and it could not have been more professionally handled. I'd definitely use Hornet again, and recommend their services to others completing a move!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    26 Foot Moving Truck + 2 Clean-Cut Movers = $180/HR (with a 2-hour minimum Monday-Thursday) and (a 3-hour minimum Friday-Sunday) **Add an additional mover = $50/HR **Add an additional truck = $70/hr **We start/stop the clock at your home and charge by the minute - no rounding up! There is also a $30 travel fee(per truck) within the city limits of Charlotte. Any location without a Charlotte zipcode or 21 miles or further from our office incurs $1.50 per mile per truck.

    5 years of experience in the moving industry, Bachelor's in Business, Master's in Engineering Management.
