REFER-A-FRIEND For every friend you refer to me that books a session/event, you receive $25 off your next session/event! PAYMENT Most clients prefect to make one full payment when booking their session with me. I do give clients the option to make an initial payment when booking with me in order to reserve your requested time on my schedule if this would be easier for you to split the cost into 2 payments. This ensures that I will not book any other clients at your chosen time. Because I am not able to book anyone else at your time, the initial payment is non-refundable if you cancel your session/event. If your session is outdoors and you need to reschedule due to weather, you will not lose your initial payment. It will be applied to the newly scheduled date. The initial payment is 1/2 of the total amount and would be due when booking your date & time. The remainder would be due the date of the session/event. Please let me know when you contact me if you prefer one invoice or 2, along with your email address and I will email it to you. Your invoice can can be easily paid online with credit card, PayPal or Venmo.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I’ll ask you what types of photos you are looking for, what location you would like to have your photos taken, who your subject(s) are, if you have a shot list of specific photos you definitely want, and when you would like to have photos taken. I’ll email you a confirmation of the booking date along with an invoice for either the full payment or an initial payment of approximately 1/3 of the total fee depending on if you want to make one payment or split it into two in order to secure your date and time on my schedule. I will upload all of your photos to a passworded online gallery on my website within a few days so that you can download all of the high resolution images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing photography with a professional camera for over 22 years, which of course was before digital photography. Nowadays, everyone with a cellphone thinks they are a photographer. There is much more to photography than just clicking a photo. It has much to do about proper lighting which is a science that takes a long time to learn. Also, knowing how to properly process digital photos with balancing colors, exposure, and retouching is an art that not every photographer knows how to do very well. Everyone has their own style of processing images. I studied at the Light Factory of Charlotte and continue to enhance my skills from mentors and other photographers, as well as stay up to date with computer skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for editing of images. I have also been a graphic designer for over 20 years which is a great skill to have when being creative with photography.
