My name is DaShondria Davis and I am a tenured tax professional located in Charlotte, NC and the owner of Take Action Taxes. I have been completing tax returns (150+), maximizing refunds, and minimizing tax liability for taxpayers for 3 years. I have worked at Liberty Tax as a tax professional, under a CPA, and now own my own Tax Office. Year after year I have maintained my PTIN, 30 hours of continuing education, and acquired my Electronic Filing Identification Number so that my clients can submit their returns electronically. I also completed and passed the Annual Federal Tax Refresher course in an effort to educate myself so that I may educate my clients over exceed their tax filing expectations. I am also a member of the National Association of Tax Preparer's which gives me access to information and resources to keep my clients and myself up to date on the most recent tax updates. Before becoming a professional, as a single taxpayer and business owner with no dependents, I would owe money each year. I have owed the IRS and had to implement a payment plan based on not understanding tax code and it caused me stress, anxiety and lots of money. I went to Tax School and completely got rid of tax related anxiety. I decided to dedicate my time and energy to helping other taxpayers do the same through education and tax planning. To combat inflation we offer a two year lock in rate and flat rate pricing instead of charging based on the forms completed. We offer a discount tax preparation fee if you pay upfront but allow you to pay from your tax refund through our bank products for a surcharge, if that is more convenient.
