FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While our pricing isn't complicated, it is individualized for each artist and production, meaning there are no set rates for any video production. Just as we strive for the greatest degree of creativity with our projects, we know that different types of videos require different types of investment. Many competitors offer flat rates for videos and starting costs which afford the ability to use a particular camera, space, etc. While we have all these tools and more available at our disposal, we know that just as artists and businesses take different approaches with their work from one another, so should the videos. This could mean filming with analog, digital or film, shooting on-location or in a studio, having a set, costume and prop-heavy shoot versus an effects-driven video and more. If you have an investment range you're thinking, feel free to let us know, but we typically ask that artists come in with an open mind so we can work together to find the best concepts, production and promotion for their films possible.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common work we do for our clients involves bringing a video to fruition from concept to completion. In a nutshell, we begin this process by speaking with potential clients. We find out what they're looking for and discuss potential ways we can help. Once we have an idea of what they're looking for we develop concepts and discuss them with tiered production levels to scale the concept up or down as needed. We then begin pre-production which often includes location scouting, casting, set and costume work before going into production. This can take place for part of a day or multiple days depending on the scale of production, after which we move directly into post-production. Depending on the package built, we often have a marketing campaign roll out teasers and other promotional information as the editing, special effects & graphics, color grading and titling are completed with the project. We usually start post-production by speaking with the client about what their next steps will be after the video and typically begin making preparations for their next video to minimize turnaround from one project to the next. We offer creative consultation services to all our clients for the projects we collaborate on as well as their overall branding and development to help them differentiate themselves from other artists in a unique and meaningful way.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Choose your video providers wisely, because not all production companies are created equally. Look for a few things before making a decision: examine the body of work (strengths and weaknesses), see what others have to say and see how they speak to you when you contact them for more information as you select your provider. If these don't match up with your expectations, keeping searching. Clients should know that we've built our business on providing the most comprehensive video experience possible. Along with complete production work, we also act as creative consultants for a large number of artists and businesses, so every decision we make toward your work is one that we design to be a successful video as well as an important step toward your larger goals. We spend a great deal of time developing ideas and researching you and your work before presenting ideas and our personalized, handcrafted approach to music videos always extends to our customer experiences, where we pride ourselves on having built great relationships with numerous clients over the years.
