I am the owner and lead instructor at JW Safety & Training Inc., proudly serving clients across North and South Carolina. I take great pride in delivering engaging, high-quality classes that prepare individuals and organizations to respond effectively in emergencies. The majority of our clients return year after year, a reflection of the value and confidence they gain from our training.
As a state-certified firefighter and EMT with more than 25 years of hands-on emergency response experience, I bring real-world knowledge and practical insight into every class. My goal is not only to teach lifesaving skills but also to ensure participants feel confident and empowered to use them when it matters most.
I truly enjoy connecting with people, sharing my expertise, and helping communities become safer and better prepared. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless individuals and organizations, and each class continues to remind me of the importance of this mission.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep my pricing as competitive as I possibly can. In doing so I do prefer a minimum of 8 people for a class. For groups of 15 or more I can provide a discount based on the total number of people in class.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically a customer will contact me with an approximate number of people to be in the class. We work out a date and time to hold the class at their location. About 4-7 days out I will contact you to confirm the total number for the class. I can invoice you after the class or you can pay day of class.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do continuing education throughout the year to keep up on any new information that has been put out.
