I stay current by reading online books and sites that cover various repairs and tools.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Been doing this as a hobby and part-time job for more than 25 years. Remodeled houses, did repairs, worked in electronics, got interested in woodworking. Decided 3 years ago to make it a full-time business.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Deck refinishing, drywall repair, wood rot repair. I suppose I specialize in doing all the little fix up and repair jobs that bigger companies don't want. I also probably do more types of repairs than anyone in the area.
