Our front yard was ain need of major help! We juat had finished a major irrigation project that left redclay dirt all over. We had Intrinity Landscaping flatten out our front yard and put down grass seed. A few weeks later, its coming up great! We are very happy with the quality of service they provide .

I hired Intrinity Landscaping to plant sod in my backyard. They were very responsive when it came to providing me an estimate and collecting their money, but we encountered many issues with the installation. 1) They said that they needed to kill off the grass about a week prior to the install. They told me on a Tuesday that the sod would be installed that Friday. I asked them about killing off the existing lawn and they said that they would do it on Wednesday, just 2 days prior to installing the Sod. I have doubts that they ever even tried to kill of the existing lawn as I didn't see any evidence of that being done, no wilted grass, no dead weeks, and today and can see the cool season grasses and weeds coming up from between the sod 2) The crew broke my sewage cleanout pipe when they were removing the old grass on the day of the install. The crew tried to cover it up by replacing the pieces neatly on the pipe. This would have been an easy fix on the day of the install, but they chose to try to cover up the mistake. I called the owner about the broken pipe and he promised that they would be out within a week to fix it. A month later and tons of e-mails and phone calls and my pipe is still broken. I had it fixed myself today. 3) The guy who provided me the quote for the job told me that they would provide step by step instructions on how to care for the lawn throughout the year. I asked about this guide on the day of the install and the manager told me that he would e-mail it to me when he got back to the office. A month later and I still do not have this guide, even after numerous calls and e-mails to the company about it. They didn't even provide watering instructions for my new lawn and it took me a week to get them to call me back about how often to water it. 3) The crew covered up both of my gutter outlets. I caught one of them on the day of the install and they fixed it, but the second one I didn't notice until a week later. I didn't want to dig up my new lawn to fix this, so I just placed a downspout splash at the bottom of the downspout. This is not nearly as nice as the underground pipe that I had before to divert water away from the house. I would discourage anyone from using this company for their landscaping needs!
Intrinity Landscaping's reply
Hi Jim, I'm very sorry for you negative experience with my company. I really want to make it right and have reached out to you by email since. The employee that you met with and managed your project was dishonest with you and me. He had stated that he sprayed herbicide on your lawn and didn't which has obviously caused a problem. That employee (general manager) has since been terminated. In the wake of the termination, many other things came to light and we struggled to keep up with trying to right all of the problems created by this employee. In the midst of this time is when I failed to stay in contact with you about the broken drain and I apologize for that. The broken clean out and covered gutter outlets were definitely a mistake and shouldn't have happened. I have offered and am still offering to pay for the expense of fixing the clean out. I would fix it if it wasn't already done. Please let me know what the cost was and we will take care if it. Thank you for your business, Nick Sagnella

I utilized thumbtack to get estimates for sod to be installed in my yard. Nick responded in a timely manner, set up an appointment and provided me an estimate prior to leaving. The work was completed within days of our initial appointment. His team is very professional, they the prepped the site, installed the sod, watered and cleaned up the area. I'm very pleased with the entire process and my yard looks great. I highly recommend him.
