"This was my first contact with Raleigh Cabinetworks and the cabinet maker Mr. Walton. I had contacted multiple cabinet makers to obtain an estimate for my project. I met with Mr. Walton at his shop and immediately, I was wanting him to perform the job. From the start, he sat down with me and planned out the project. He was receptive and easy to work with. During the construction of the cabinets, he was in constant communication with me and providing updates to the progress. During construction, I wanted to alter a portion of the cabinets and Mr. Walton was gracious and adaptive to a change. When the cabinets were installed, Mr. Walton observed two items that I would have never noticed. However, his "Attention to Detail" was above and beyond what I was expecting. He could have over-looked it but, he immediately stopped and made corrections that improved the final outcome. His professionalism to the quality of his work says a lot about Mr. Walton and the relationship he has with his customers. During the installation of his cabinets, I asked for his assistance in another room. Without hesitation, he graciously performed that task. I already have plans for other projects with cabinet construction and I already know who I want to perform this project. If you are looking for quality work and at a great value, I would highly recommend Mr. Walton and his work crew to perform any and all of your cabinet needs."

"Working with Mark was a pleasure. He is dependable, competent and trustworthy. He helped me bring a 1940's house back to life, after years and years of neglect. Though it was in a sad state of disrepair, he assured me that he could transform it into something that I would feel proud of. Mark has a wide range of skills, he is a true "jack of all trades", so his depth of knowledge on a project of this scope was crucial. He started by removing 12 feet of thick bamboo growth from the back yard, then pressure washed and painted the exterior of the house. He rebuilt the existing windows, which was a very tedious and time-consuming task, and a lost art to boot. In addition, he installed guard rails around a creek on the property, to help decrease my liability as a landlord. He then moved inside the house and painted the walls, installed new vinyl flooring, sanded and refinished the original hard wood floors (they're beautiful!), installed a new bathroom cabinet, faucet and other hardware, replaced several light fixtures, installed new door locks, and new storm doors. Mark works independently and takes pride in his workmanship, so it's important to be considerate of his pace. Since he does not specialize in any one area, it naturally takes longer to organize the necessary equipment and tools than if he were subcontracting various jobs to specialist. Finally, Mark is an excellent communicator, and kept me well-informed of any set backs along the way. He has also worked with me to correct problems that neither of us noticed until the project was completed. Knowing that he stands behind his work is of particular importance, because it's hard to catch everything, even after a "final" inspection. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, personable, trustworthy and fair, look no further, Mark is your man!"
