I was there for marriage counseling and the session went well. And I am still working on it. Its extremely hard we only had the one session but I was pleased with it..
Mr. Clark has a “straight from the hip” method of teaching couples! I will say that my hubby was totally against counseling for sure; but the vibe and the flow of Mr. Clark’s abilities, I’d say he’s mastered the ability to help any man who despises counseling!! #WellRecommended
Dr. Sharon Lee graciously fell into my space when I was 22. She coached and mentored me until about 25. Three years have passed since then and I can say that the service she has given me is invaluable. No, it was not a become an instant success, or a become instantly better person type of thing. Dr. Lee administers tools; she identifies what the tool is, how to use it and most importantly, which tool to apply to what problem area. Then, once you understand those basics, she sets you free to master those tools for yourself. What I enjoyed most about Dr. Lee’s services is that she didn’t hold your hand the entire way through. Things you thought you had together she’d quickly point out that you didn’t, and even if you felt angry about what she was saying to you at the moment, there was always a teachable moment where you could come to your senses and process your situation and errors rationally. Make no mistake, Dr. Lee is certainly kind and compassionate, friendly...all things you would hope to expect from a Counseling Professional. But she is not afraid to push the buttons needed to elevate you where you need to be. My experience with Dr. Lee has been wonderful. What is taught by her can be carried and utilized long after your season with her is over. It has grown me, and it will grow you. Book services with Dr. Lee. It is certainly a worthwhile investment.
When we began to plan our wedding ceremony, I knew there was no one I would rather have officiant than George Linney. He helped us through every step; from customizing the ceremony to fit our unique personalities, helping to quickly get our entire wedding party thorough the rehearsal (and making sure I felt comfortable and prepared for the next day), to making sure our ceremony was incredibly personal. George made sure that me and my husband felt comfortable and prepared for the day. We had his support from the moment we asked him to be our officiant through to our wedding day. Even now, we take comfort knowing that he is still around for counseling and support if we need him. We highly recommend George for your wedding.
I was well attended to by addressing my problems with confidentiality and keen to assist me. Thank you.
Working with George was an extremely enjoyable experience. My fiance and I made a handful of visits with him in advance of our wedding date. He was a fantastic listener and made us feel very comfortable throughout each of the visits. Without a doubt, we feel our time with him was beneficial in so many ways. I would absolutely recommend him to friends (and strangers!) who might be seeking a form of premarital counseling, and we look forward to paying him a visit him in the future for continued guidance in our marriage. Thank you, George!

Steve counseled me through my most recent "awakening" experience. My world broke when my husband suffered a traumatic brain injury in a catastrophic motorcycle accident. I cared for him in our home for three years--and then surrendered to physical and mental limitations that put my sweet husband in a care facility and left me unable to engage in work or personal relationships. Steve entered the picture then, sharing with me his own "break-through"--his words for what the rest of us might call a "break down." He helped me to understand that the pain I felt deserved its full due so that I might process the loss of what I knew as my life and successfully get to the other side, where confusion and heartbreak would pass into enlightenment and hope. From that point and throughout the crazy year that followed, Steve posed the questions that led me to learn how to accept myself in whatever state I might find myself --prison boyfriend, new boobs, irate children, "new" children, break up, broken dreams, and new dreams--goodness it's been quite a ride! Steve gave me the non-judgmental space to expose all that I was---in all my many forms as I struggled to find my way--not back to what I was before the accident--but to an entirely new place--the other side. His journey had clearly led him to this point of panoramically seeing the world in a way that made it hurt a little less. I wanted to be there too. It is not a straight trajectory to the other side--the roller coaster goes on--but at least now the ride is moving forward and when setbacks occur as they do--I do not lose hope so easily. Thank you Steve!
As a counselor, my goal is to partner with people to address issues that limit their life and relationships while exploring healthy alternatives for their present and future. As a pastoral counselor, I offer therapy that helps all clients find their true selves, and I'm open to spiritual questions for clients who want to explore them. As a consultant, my 18 years as a pastor give me enormous respect for the commitment shown by ministers and the congregations they serve. I've found that a clergy sometimes need skills not taught in a seminary, practical tips on solving problems or just an understanding listener. In my experience, congregations also benefit from an outside perspective, particularly when large decisions, conflict or staff development become priorities. If you'd like to find out more about me, you can take a look at my video, biography and blog at my website.
