- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
DESIGN SERVICES I will work with you in two ways: * Do you need help with paint colors, furniture arrangement or anything that will require a couple of hours of design assistance? Hiring Living Solutions for a single visit might be right for you. I charge a one time fee of $200 for a single two hour consultation. * If you need an area/room or even a whole house renovated then a job cost estimate may be the best option for you. After our initial visit, (at no cost to you) I will prepare a proposal that includes an estimate of design time required to complete your project along with an explanation of the design process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
INTERIOR DESIGN Does your home need an update or maybe you are stuck making decisions on a paint color or you want to make your new home reflect your personality and lifestyle? The first step is a phone conversation or a face to face meeting. Our initial design meeting will also give us an opportunity to get to know one another, so I can better assess the scope of the project, budget and overall preferences. We will discuss how you would prefer to work - simply by the hour or by the job. Our first meeting/consultation is no charge to allow us time to get to know one another. It will also allow me to review with you what type of service you are looking for and then look at the room(s) involved. After our initial meeting I will prepare a design estimate that will reflect our discussion and give you all the design consultation costs I anticipate. Once we agree upon the design estimate, then it is time for the fun to begin!
