I contracted with Ellie of Marigold Organizing to assist me in moving my son into his dorm room. I am so glad she was available.
She was very responsive to the task prior to move in day by researching the space, taking an inventory of what my son needed to be organized, and suggesting items that would be good for the space. She has ideas that really work. I ordered the things she suggested and had them on move in day so that we could get to work and not have to leave to go get anything. She arrived early with her own toolkit. She even had a level to make sure the pictures were straight. She works very quickly and is skilled at assembling shelving units and just knowing what works.
I highly recommend her services. My son was so pleased with all that she accomplished. Her work created a space that is organized, functional, enjoyable, and maintainable.

We hired Marigold Organizing to handle our pantry and our playroom after they had gotten away from us with clutter and chaos. Ellie was great with communication and after a virtual consult where she promptly priced out an estimate and time for our projects, she came out to our house and finished both rooms in the EXACT time that she had predicted. In just a single day she did what I could have only dreamed of accomplishing on my own in 3x the time, and she moved with such speed and vision for the final product! Our pantry now has a highly efficient system she put in place that will be so easy for us to maintain in the future, and our playroom is organized so its both visually pleasing, calm, and in a way that our 5 year old is so excited to play with her toys again now that were all not overwhelmed by clutter. Ellie is absolutely amazing at what she does! She fully reorganized and helped me sort multiple spaces in my home that had been neglected, including boxes we hadnt opened since we moved in 5 years ago.I was totally overwhelmed by the disaster in my spare room, laundry room, kitchen, and closets. Ellie was so efficient at sorting out everything that was in a given space and all I really had to do was come in and review categories to make choices on trash, donate or keep!Above and beyond the initial sort and purge, she helped me find storage solutions in each space that worked perfectly for long term maintenance of the now organized area.Highly, highly recommend Marigold Organizing! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price is $85/hour with a 4 hour minimum.
My most popular service is a full organizing session which includes:
- One organizer on-site for 6 hours
- Donation removal (up to one car-load per session)
- Custom product recommendation lists (if applicable)
A general estimate is that it takes 1-2 organizing sessions to fully transform a room.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by offering a FREE 30 minute virtual consultation so I can get a better understanding of your goals and timeline. During this time you can show me videos or photos of the space, and I can answer any questions you may have.
After the consultation, we can book our first project day(s) and I will send over a project proposal, contract, and invoice via email.
