Introduction: We try to give piano instruction a different face - we make it fun, positive, dynamic - all the while making sure the student receives a solid foundation in all musical concepts. Our goal is to inspire - and be inspired. We all love working with the individual student, understanding how each student's mind works. That is the beauty of one-on-one instruction. Experiencing the individual personalities of my teenage students is a particular joy for me, thus fueling my desire to stay in contact with them when they move on to college and into adulthood.

Very Professional, yet the personal touch has been maintained. Expects the world from the student yet still believes that music should touch the soul and be fun. She takes the time to understand the child she is teaching and changes her methods to suit the child. The child and the music are all important to her and she organizes everything around it to follow suit. She always makes a lot of effort for us and expects us to as well. We are very lucky to be with her at Kerry Henry Pianos. I am planning to get my younger son started on his piano with one of her teachers this year.

We are more than pleased with the top-notch instruction, guidance, encouragement, inspiration and challenge our daughter has received from Mrs. Henry. Kerry's a wonderful piano teacher, focusing on technique, interpretation, and expression. She's supportive and she makes learning fun. We start off lessons with sight-reading duets--and that's a treat but it's great for sight-reading and rhythm. I highly recommend Kerry and her studio.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a $20 annual registration fee plus a music supply fee of anywhere from $50 to $150 to cover books and materials.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of various national, state, and local music organizations which provide opportunities to attend meetings, lectures, performances, and weekend conferences. I enjoy attending these events so that I may continue to further my knowledge.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Born into a musical family, I always knew music would be a large part of my life. The teaching aspect of it came quite accidentally when someone asked me to prepare her for a college piano audition. After that one lesson, I knew I was 'home' and never looked back.
