Todd did a great job of uninstalling and then reinstalling our media system. He was kind enough to drive our equipment over to our new apartment Chapel Hill and installed the equipment efficiently and aesthetically. He explained how to use it , was very personable and very reasonable in his price. The Time Warner cable installers were very impressed with his work as well. They tend to be very picky. It was a great experience and we would use him again and recommend him highly

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Super fast, courteous and very professional. Needed a high traffic area (stairway) cleaned in a pinch. Victor pre-treated the stains and was able to produce the results I was hoping for in no time! The same stairway was cleaned only three months ago by a Groupon company who actually made the stains worse. LUSTRARE had the proper equipment and skilled technician needed to tackle this heavy duty job. Thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thumbtack is not all that it claims to be It took several attempts to get a sufficiently detailed quote that I could act upon. Once the job was agreed,Tim and his crew quickly poured a 6 inch thick 890 sq ft slab in my workshop. The concrete delivery truck drivers need to be instructed (or to better follow instructions)regarding washing of their equipment.

It turned out what I hired him for couldn't be done with the equipment I had (he told me what I needed, and from there I could do it myself), so because he'd already come out so far, I asked him if he could move my treadmill to the back of the house. He took it apart and walked it across the house through a narrow pathway, then reassembled and tested it. Thank you! I've been wanting to get that done FOREVER. He says he's a jack of all trades, so I also asked for an estimate to get some sheet rock, crown molding, and baseboard done. He was a good communicator through emails, setting up the visit and asking what exactly I needed done, and then he showed up on time. He was polite and friendly (and he charges too little, probably). I hope to use him again!

Working with Mark was a pleasure. He is dependable, competent and trustworthy. He helped me bring a 1940's house back to life, after years and years of neglect. Though it was in a sad state of disrepair, he assured me that he could transform it into something that I would feel proud of. Mark has a wide range of skills, he is a true "jack of all trades", so his depth of knowledge on a project of this scope was crucial. He started by removing 12 feet of thick bamboo growth from the back yard, then pressure washed and painted the exterior of the house. He rebuilt the existing windows, which was a very tedious and time-consuming task, and a lost art to boot. In addition, he installed guard rails around a creek on the property, to help decrease my liability as a landlord. He then moved inside the house and painted the walls, installed new vinyl flooring, sanded and refinished the original hard wood floors (they're beautiful!), installed a new bathroom cabinet, faucet and other hardware, replaced several light fixtures, installed new door locks, and new storm doors. Mark works independently and takes pride in his workmanship, so it's important to be considerate of his pace. Since he does not specialize in any one area, it naturally takes longer to organize the necessary equipment and tools than if he were subcontracting various jobs to specialist. Finally, Mark is an excellent communicator, and kept me well-informed of any set backs along the way. He has also worked with me to correct problems that neither of us noticed until the project was completed. Knowing that he stands behind his work is of particular importance, because it's hard to catch everything, even after a "final" inspection. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, personable, trustworthy and fair, look no further, Mark is your man!

My law firm hired Justin to move years worth of files from one storage facility to another and we were highly satisfied with the service he performed. Justin was able to do the job well within the time period we needed and had the equipment necessary to make the move. The quality of service was fantastic and Justin was very professional. The fee charged was reasonable for the job performed and we certainly feel that his service was invaluable. In the event we need similar services in the future, Justin will certainly be contacted to perform the work!

I got quotes for a window enlargement job from baker and aluminum company that ranged from 1800 to 3,000. Yikes! Charles quoted me $225 for the same job and it sounded too good to be true. He did excellent work though and when we ran into difficulties (electricity in the wall) he came up with great solutions. We went to lowes together for materials and spent another $300 on materials. So I'm very pleased with my savings and the job that was done.

A-1 Home Repair & Landscaping completed several backyard projects for us at a reasonable price while also providing an exceptional quality of work. They replaced all of the existing decking boards in our two-level deck while also reconstructing framework and sinking our hot tub in the upper level. It looks amazing, and we could not be happier with the finished product. They also constructed lattice underneath our raised porch, deck, and around our water heater to make the appearance more aesthetically pleasing. They constructed a wooden frame with door for the area beside our pool to provide us with storage for pool equipment and hide the pump from view. In addition, they installed black chain link fence and self-closing gates to match the existing fence in our yard and bring our backyard entrances up to code for the pool. Overall, they were professional, trustworthy, and hard-working. I would highly recommend them to others. I will certainly use this company again for future home repairs/upgrades. Thanks A-1 for doing such an amazing job on our backyard projects!
