I contacted Mr. Cook and explained what I needed, which was to have shades/blinds installed on my sliding glass door. I sent a picture of the product and Mr. Cook shared that he’d done the job before, so we agreed on a price and scheduled a time for the following day. Once he was there, Mr. Cook determined that, because I had already opened the box, he would need to charge me an additional 25.00 charge in order to hang the shades. He stated that because I’d already attempted to drill one of the screws, he’d need to find me additional hardware and that would cost me more money. When asked why my opening the box would cost more, he stated that “it was just 25.00 more dollars”. He was on time, but not very friendly or accommodating. He also adjusted his pricing because I opened the box. Obviously, I would have preferred to do it myself, for free. I only contacted him because I wasn’t able to get it done. Ultimately, I decided to not utilize his services. I will find someone else to do the job.
