I had a Goaliath Basketball System that I purchased from Dick's Sporting Goods 7 years ago as it was on a crazy good sale but never installed it as we moved 3 times during that 7 year span. During those 7 years, the original box fell apart so I tried to keep all the parts in Rubbermaid containers. I finally decided to put it up at this house in Mooresville and I thought about tackling the project myself, but decided to hire a professional for the job, as I was afraid that I may not have all of the pieces. I am glad I did. John came the first day to pour the concrete (which he provided) and to set the anchors. He then advised me he would come back at the same time but a few days later to finish. He and a helper showed up on time and they put the rest of the hoop together in about an hour. Throughout the entire process, he was very easy to get a hold of and kept me in the loop of the process. He also did not accept payment until the hoop was completely finished and to my satisfaction. He also advised me that if in the future I have any issues or questions that I can contact him.
This was the first time I hired someone to provide a service through a website like Thumbtack, or Angie's List etc. Needless to say, I was hesitant because of all of the scams that you hear about. But after the level of service I received from John & National Service Corp, I won't be so hesitant in the future.
In the photos, the pile of dirt and hole in the ground from the previous basketball hoop is my work. John left no mess whatsoever.
