The scope of the project was both complex and transformative. Our kitchen initially supported only a microwave and convection oven, and we sought to upgrade it to accommodate a four-burner stovetop with a properly installed fan and ventilation system. This required not only technical expertise but also creative problem-solving. At the outset, we as homeowners believed that eight existing cabinets would need to be raised to ceiling level in order to make room for the new stovetop and vent system. However, Travionne and his associate carefully assessed the space and proposed a far more efficient and innovative solution. They determined that by replacing one of the larger cabinets with a smaller, properly sized cabinet, the need to raise all eight cabinets could be completely avoided. This insight not only preserved the integrity of the kitchen design but also saved significant time and unnecessary disruption. Their ability to identify this alternative approach demonstrated exceptional expertise, creativity, and practical problem-solving. They executed this modification seamlessly, and the outcome was truly phenomenal. In addition, they custom-built a supportive enclosure for the stovetop that integrated beautifully into the overall kitchen layout. They also installed a stunning subway tile backsplash, extending the tilework thoughtfully to enhance and support the stovetop area. The final result is a modern, functional, and visually striking kitchen that reflects outstanding craftsmanship. Throughout the entire project, Travionne and his associate were: Professional, courteous, and respectful Exceptionally neat, maintaining a clean workspace daily Efficient, completing the project in a timely manner Creative in their approach to design challenges Meticulous in the quality of their workmanship Their ability to take an outdated kitchen and transform it into a contemporary space exceeded our expectations.
