- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The average price for a balloon garland is $18 per foot. Your fee isn’t just for balloons — it’s for the whole experience: custom design, premium materials, personalized touches, professional setup, delivery, and the rental of our equipment (stands, frames, backdrops). Everything is done for you so you can simply enjoy your event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer reaches out, I like to start by learning about the event—what you’re celebrating, the date and location, and what kind of look you’re going for. If you have an inspiration photo, even better. From there: 1. Consultation – We’ll talk through your vision, color palette, and setup ideas. I’ll guide you on what’s possible within your budget. 2. Quote & Booking – I’ll provide a custom quote based on your selections. To secure your date, a deposit is required. 3. Planning & Prep – Once booked, I begin prepping the materials and balloon colors. I may send a mock-up or sketch depending on the design. 4. Day-of Installation – I arrive on-site to install the display. Most set-ups take 2 hours. 5. Teardown (if applicable) – If I’m returning to collect rental items, I’ll also handle cleanup of the balloon display.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always enjoyed planning celebrations and adding creative touches. After making a few balloon displays for family events, it quickly turned into something more. My daughter and I realized we made a great team—and Ever After Balloons was born!
