Couldn’t have chosen a better person to do the job! The quality, knowledge and effectiveness Marcus has is amazing! Hired to paint our lower level from eggshell to nomadic dessert (color shown in picture) and I love it. Also had my cabinets painted white and I’m in love. Such an elevation to my space. I regret hiring Marcus to paint my office and closet. Initially the work looked completed, however after the paint dried (he applied one coat), I noticed several issues. I reached out to Marcus two days after he came out to let him know about the issues as he had said he'd come back to do any touchups or fix any issues. While he initially agreed to return to fix the issues one week ago, he did not show up and has since ghosted me. He refused to come out or issue a partial refund. The issues with the job are that because only one coat was applied, there was uneven coverage throughout the paint job and the original room color is still bleeding through in at least four areas including above doors and beside windows - see photos for the current state of the paint job. There is also insufficient coverage on a previously painted whiteboard. I get that mistakes happen and this would all be solved if he would have come out to do the touchups. I'm disappointed in Marcus as the prior reviews mentioned his excellent work ethic and quality, and he was eager to do the job. But my experience did not match expectations and the other reviews and my project is still incomplete.

I'm sorry about that, mrs Michelle.I ended up twisting my ankle so I could not respond I explain everything to thumbtack.When a personal they call me.I truly apologize about that As you can see, all my customers love the work that I did.And yes I did said if you all find any mistakes I will come back but I end up doing another job and I twist my ankle !!! So to my knowledge, thumbtack paid you back and they had understood my situation once again. I truly apologize.

Marcus came out and did an incredible job. His prices were extremely reasonable and he had great suggestions for which colors to use. I will 100% be using him again in the near future for other rental properties.
