FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been an actor and musician all my life. In 1995, I started hosting karaoke shows and eventually trained to be a wedding DJ. I no longer do the karaoke thing, but I still enjoy providing great music for people and their special events.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly weddings, but I also do company parties, reunions, birthdays, and the occasional mitzvah. I will also act as your master of ceremonies making any and all necessary announcements such as bridal party intros, cake-cutting, special dances, and award presentations for corporate events.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the DJ's you interview are the right personality for your event. For example, if you're looking for a high energy DJ who leads group dances and is very interactive, tell them up front how important that is. That way, you won't waste time going through all the other details before discovering they aren't the right fit for you.
