Brian arrived during time promised and got our hot water heater going. He also pointed out an issue that was not up to code and took care of it right away. Very courteous, flexible and professional. Already made another appointment for follow up service. Highly recommended!
Stephen Bagby was a real professional from start to finish. My A/C was out in the heat of summer. He came out right away, was on time, did a thorough assessment of my HVAC needs (checked windows, attic insulation), showed me all his credentials, explained the system and was accommodating with scheduling the work. Even offered financing options. Finished the job on time, came back to check details. Pleasant to work with without feeling glad-hand-y. (Same for his office staff.) This was a 100% great experience. Cool Breeze will be my go-to company for anything HVAC.
We hired Air Care initially to address a odor issue in our crawl space. We had made several attempts with other vendors without success. As we got into the job, it became apparent that we had major issues in several areas of our home that had to be addressed in addition to the odor. These included hidden water damage, a incorrectly installed french drain system, damage to subfloor, incorrectly installed vinyl siding and others. Throughout the process, Bryan was most professional in helping us to understand the source of the problem and he was able to provide solutions. His work ethic is second to none. Furthermore, the work he did was done with great attention to detail. Impressively, Byran was also our advocate in working to correct issues with previous contractors installation and was able to provide expert support that helped resolve that situation very favorable for us. He did this on his own time and because he wanted to ensure we were treated fairly. Because of the high quality of Byran's work, we expanded the project to address/improve our home including replacing plumbing and windows. Air Care/Bryan demonstrated that he is a professional who takes great pride in doing the job with great and at a fair price that reflects the high quality of the service being provided. Additionally, he has a wide range of services to offer. In our case: installed new floor, removed crawl space odor, encapsulated crawls space, repaired french drain, replaced plumbing, replaced windows, and addressed several other issues. I recommend AirCare without reservation. M Dixon 18Feb2017
Diagnostic, maintenance, refrigerant refill, cleaning.
We hired Brandon to do some repairs to sell our home. Frrom roofing to plumbing and repair he could do it all. He was very quick and got the job done just as we needed for inspection. I would definitely go to him for future project.
I hired Halls Refrigeration and A/C to switch my gas heat over to electric and add A/C for 4 units. They were quick and efficient. The work was clean and neat. Even after we had a break-in and thief of copper for the A/C they came out with no problem to asses the damage and write up a quote for the insurance company. They made to ordeal easy to get through and completed all the work with no problem. I would hire them again.
Overall good experience. Gary and the crew were professional, respectful, and knowledgable. I would have no problem whatsoever recommending these guys to anyone needing help with their HVAC.
Replaced a hot water heater elbow and install combustion vents in Raleigh. Quoted higher price but matched competitor quote. Prompt service and called back with questions. They had to correct an error they made but was prompt and did not charge extra for the correction. 2 days to complete job due to the error. Need a better system for delivering invoices (suggest scan and email not iphone photo since the resolution was bad). Overall good experience, I would hire again.
I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received or the charge The response was immediate and he was here within an hour. My refrigerator needed a new electronic board and he came back that afternoon he even called various suppliers to get the best price and saved me $80. Brian is a personable young man who does all kinds of work. I had an outside faucet that needed to be replaced and he agreed to do that on the refrigerator visit. I am definitely saving his number and will call him for all my repair needs. It made my day to find such a helpful and honest young repairman.
The review from Cheryl L.is not a fair review. First of all she did get her money back. Second she doesn't have an air conditioner in her home. And she is not always there in the winter months. So she wouldn't have had that much of a savings. That's why we have a five year performance guarantee because this is a unique situation completely non - typical of normal results. Let me put it this way Utility Improvements has been around for several years and has thousands of satisfied customers, is BBB accredited and has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. So one unfair bad review is not the whole story with this company. Utility Improvement not only gave Cheryl L her money back but have bent over backward to try to please her, but unfortunately she doesn't care. She has a vendetta against the fellow that sold it to her, even though the company has tried to make it right on several occasions. It's kind of like this. You can have over 168,000 homes covered have an excellent rating, and get one bad review and that's all people want to talk about (the bad review) In all fairness Utility Improvements is excellent in customer satisfaction.
My husband and I were looking to upgrade our upstairs heat pump. Hays Heating & Air came highly recommended from a couple of coworkers. We set up an appt with this company as well as a couple of others in the area to discuss our options. I must say Hay's impressed us from our initial call until instillation was complete. All of their employees were prompt, friendly and very helpful through the entire process. Their estimates were in line with where we needed to be as far as our budget. Any time my husband or I contacted this company we received a timely response. Thank you Hays for a job well done!
Chuck is extremely knowledgeable about the heating and air conditioning systems as well as making ones home "tighter" to decrease air loss. He is responsive if you have any problems with the system and our electricity and gas bill have decreased a TON since we've had him do our work.
Robert Rogers at ESRA Facility Management & Consulting, Inc. deserves a 10 out of 5 rating for his very thorough and informative energy efficiency evaluation for my house. Two contractors had recommended a blower door test because of air pressure issues in my house that could influence ventilation, energy efficiency and household odors. I chose Mr. Rogers' company because he started troubleshooting about the reason for the consult before he visited, so I could tell he had the necessary experience and problem-solving skills. Mr. Rogers and his apprentice worked constantly for two hours straight, teaching me as they worked. After a Duke Energy audit, I had taken basic steps to improve energy efficiency. Mr. Rogers showed me there was a lot more to learn. He and his apprentice used specialized equipment to measure the air pressure balance in the house. They also examined the HVAC and duct system in the crawlspace and inspected the outside of the house. While my house was energy-efficient overall, Mr. Rogers recommended improvements to the duct sealing, pipe insulation and other changes. Importantly, he also told me what not to do because some repairs would worsen air circulation rather than improve it. He gave me a hard copy checklist with handwritten notes and told me he would e-mail final results soon. Two days later, Mr. Rogers emailed a 2-¼ page single-spaced report with the most helpful information I have received about the house ventilation to date. He tailored the report to my reasons for the consult, including carbon monoxide measurements, Blower Door readings that showed my house was on the borderline of being too “tight” to allow optimal fresh air intake, an explanation of how this would affect household odors, and options for further interventions. He also attached 2 articles that described in layman’s terms how an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) could improve air circulation in the house. Because he does not sell or install the equipment, he never advertises or tries to sell products. Instead he provided all the information my HVAC company needs to correct the problem plus more. This is one of the highest-value consults I have ever received, and I highly recommend Mr. Rogers to every home and business owner. This consult will pay for itself because Mr. Rogers’ recommendations will improve the house structure. I appreciate his knowledge, work ethic and ability to translate technical terms for regular homeowners. Now I feel informed and prepared instead of trying to decide about expensive ventilation repairs based on incomplete information.
