John has been wonderful. He helped me figure out exactly what I wanted even when I had just a general idea. He did not push anything on me. He was flexible for my schedule. Good Wood is finishing up my 2nd project this morning, The 1st project was stripping popcorn ceiling off on my garage ceiling, re-taping seams and painting the ceiling. It looks great! The second project is replacing my 31 year old deck. I gave my design idea to Lucas and it is just as I envisioned. I am pleased at how quickly they were able to start both projects. I found out about them when they were working at a neighbors house. When they finish up here, they will work on my next door neighbors deck. I have been very satisfied with the work, and clean up after the jobs were finished, Many thanks to Lucas, Cole, Raner, John, Sergio, Juan and Mallory. In all, I am very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to use them again.

I submitted my project and within 24 hours John came out and completed the work, coming in cheaper than other estimates I had received. I am not the cheapest but I am fair.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet onsite for every job so we all have expectations set up front. This makes for a much smoother project. You will also have weekly updates from me directly, at minimum.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a associates degree in building construction technology, with 10 years exp. I also hold IICRC certifications in fire damage, smoke and odor, and water damaged homes.
