My name is James with OWJ handyman services. I’ve been a carpenter doing home remodels for years. I left the business for a while and during the Covid lockdown, I decided to come back and work for myself. I really enjoy helping people around their homes. Thank you, James, for bringing my vision to life with your professional wall art installation. This was no ordinary art installation-- it included 43 individual wood and ceramic pieces placed on two 20' high walls. I appreciate your patience and assistance in placing each piece-- it is amazing and I have already received numerous compliments. I highly recommend hiring James for your project-- he was professional, great communication through the hiring to installation process, and did a great job.

I am Very pleased! This gentleman is experienced in so many areas. The work I needed was very tedious and needed precise measuring to actually correct 2 fourteen foot shelves that were too tight. These shelves, one at each each of the room, were suspended at the end of the wall/top-ceiling. I highly recommend him for not only his work ethics but also courtesy & professional manner.

I have had many bad experiences with handymen. However, I found James to be very professional, in every way. He takes pride in his work and makes sure that it is done correctly and that you are satisfied, before he leaves. His prices are very reasonable and he is very easy to work with. He installed curtain rods for me and made sure that they were perfectly straight. He even helped me put a set of my drapes up, because I was afraid that I bought the wrong size, just to ease my worries! He also bore holes and installed a new doorknob, in a brand new door and made sure that the door would open and close properly. Then he fixed a wooden table that was very wobbly, so it would be balanced again, so I could use it for an upcoming party. I will definitely be using him again, for future jobs. Thanks again James!

James did an outstanding job. Worked on my front door, deck and repaired a fan. I usually try to fix these things myself, but these 3 things ended up being beyond the scope of my skill set. Excellent work, on time, professional, quality work. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Cost was very reasonable too. With out a doubt, I will be using him again. I highly recommend him. Probably the best experience with a contractor that I have had in 20 years. No hidden fees and no surprises. Do not hesitate to use him. I don't normally leave glowing reviews, but he certainly deserved this review.
