My name is James with OWJ handyman services. I’ve been a carpenter doing home remodels for years. I left the business for a while and during the Covid lockdown, I decided to come back and work for myself. I really enjoy helping people around their homes. James is the best. He listened to my vision and made it happen. I would hire him again . He fixed my closet that wasn’t working for us. He’s professional, tidy and punctual. Hire him!

James did an outstanding job. Worked on my front door, deck and repaired a fan. I usually try to fix these things myself, but these 3 things ended up being beyond the scope of my skill set. Excellent work, on time, professional, quality work. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Cost was very reasonable too. With out a doubt, I will be using him again. I highly recommend him. Probably the best experience with a contractor that I have had in 20 years. No hidden fees and no surprises. Do not hesitate to use him. I don't normally leave glowing reviews, but he certainly deserved this review.

I am in the beginning stages of kitchen renovation and thankfully found the perfect person to cut and install butcher block countertops! He did a phenomenal job and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. James really worked with me making sure I had everything I needed, being budget friendly, keeping me updated on changes, and going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfectly aligned to my liking. I also got him to make some shelves with the extra pieces of butcher block and it really ties everything together. I highly recommend hiring him and will be going back to him for future projects.

I hired James to mount a wall mounted entertainment center to my walls….he did a fantastic job assembling and mounting it to my walls….it looks beautiful and looks like it came installed in my home….great job all around…he was well prepared and cleaned up after himself….I will hire him again in the future. It was great service and great price for the work he performed…the pics speak for themselves

I have had many bad experiences with handymen. However, I found James to be very professional, in every way. He takes pride in his work and makes sure that it is done correctly and that you are satisfied, before he leaves. His prices are very reasonable and he is very easy to work with. He installed curtain rods for me and made sure that they were perfectly straight. He even helped me put a set of my drapes up, because I was afraid that I bought the wrong size, just to ease my worries! He also bore holes and installed a new doorknob, in a brand new door and made sure that the door would open and close properly. Then he fixed a wooden table that was very wobbly, so it would be balanced again, so I could use it for an upcoming party. I will definitely be using him again, for future jobs. Thanks again James!
