Update 8/11/26: The owner of Moppers Inc., Chanler, contacted me personally, listened to my concerns, and made things right. She was professional, realistic, responsive, and genuinely interested in understanding what had gone wrong. I appreciate the way she handled the situation and believe she will address the issues I experienced with the individual who was sent to my home, as well as make sure her other cleaners are clear about expectations going forward. Thank you, Chanler, for reaching out, listening, and making things right. 🙂 I was very disappointed with this move-out cleaning service. I paid $235 for a move-in/out cleaning and expected the home to be thoroughly cleaned, but unfortunately, several things were left unfinished. The cleaner arrived approximately 30 minutes late, and her vacuum broke during the cleaning; instead of calling for backup, she left the carpet in those rooms and floors unvacuumed or swept! The basement was not swept as promised, nor was the back porch. The oven was not cleaned, not all of the cabinets were wiped out inside, the bathtub was not fully cleaned, and the windows were not cleaned. Later, I discovered (not to my surprise) the cabinets were not fully wiped out and cleaned. I was also surprised to learn that the company does not clean spiderwebs or areas they cannot reach while standing on the floor with a mop or broom. They do not use ladders or clean higher ceilings, which is something customers should be aware of when booking a move-out cleaning. The only reason they didn't get a score of one star is that they did send someone out to clean the oven after I moved out. That was appreciated. However, after the owner pointed out the other problems... I could not raise it to a 3. I hired a professional cleaning company because I was moving out and wanted to leave the property thoroughly cleaned. Instead, I was left with several areas that still needed cleaning after paying $235 for the service. Now, I am going back after moving out to make sure the house is properly cleaned myself. I would have done this in the first place, but I was in a crunch to get moved and was exhausted. Overall, this was a completely disappointing experience and not the level of move-out cleaning I expected for the price.
