Emily’s Immaculate Furniture Assembly

Introduction: Hello! I’m Emily and I love to assemble furniture. For real. I do. I call IKEA flat packs “adult legos” because that’s how much fun I have while doing it—a holdover from childhood. Not only is it fun, but it’s very satisfying to do a job well done. Yes, I’m a lady, but don’t let that deter you! I love the utility of hand tools, know how to use leverage, and I come from a family of spatially gifted builders, architects, civil engineers and I inherited the same interest. I may not be as prestigious as they are but I’m happy to help in subtler ways that pertain to my skill set. Personally, I have assembled over 30 shelves, beds, desks, tables, dressers, and chairs of various shapes, sizes, materials, and brands for my personal home over the past 15 years. And I have happily helped friends and family too! Now, I’d love to help you! I can also hang artwork/frames on walls. I also have a long bed truck for hauling away any old furniture, if needed.
