I'm currently going to him for drum lessons. I had barely ever touched a drum before. He's very patient and an amazing teacher. He pushes me to do things I didn't think I could at first, and soon, with his help, I'm able to do it.
I took guitar lessons from Jeff for a while back in the 90's. I've recently started taking lessons from him again. He's a fantastic musician and teacher. Couple that with being a very cool, laid back person and you have Jeff. It doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner or an advanced player who needs work on your theory, he can help you to improve. I've been playing on and off for 35 years and had many guitar instructors. Jeff is one of only TWO that I recommend without hesitation. Give him a call, you won't regret it.
My daughter started taking piano lessons from Jenny when she was 5 years old. She's now 9 and still loves taking lessons. My daughter has gotten the highest score each year in the national federation of music club festivals. I'm very thankful for such a great teacher!
I highly recommend guitar lessons with Luke Payne. He is a kind and compassionate teacher with superb knowledge of guitar repertoire and technique. He provided me with individualized lessons to meet my needs, goals and abilities that were both fun and very effective! You will be pleased to work with this wonderful musician and teacher.

I have taken guitar lessons from Kyle for 16 months. He is knowledgeable and interested in sharing his knowledge. He is dependable and always prepared and ready to teach; he is not a time waster. I have learned so much about music from Kyle and feel fortunate to have him as a guitar teacher. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone interested learning to play guitar.
He is an attentive teacher.
Guitar can be complex, difficult and overwhelming, but by focusing on effective learning strategies, or “learning how to learn” it doesn’t have to be. This is my main focus with students: cutting through the complexity, boredom and overwhelm by teaching effective strategies that help the human brain learn best. Things like how to self-evaluate, using recall and repetition effectively, the usefulness of mistakes, self-quizing for better retention, and many others. To the “I’m not advanced enough for that” or “That sounds too hard” reflex: These methods can be applied to any level of student. Just want to learn a few chords to strum your favorite songs? It works for that. Want to become the next jazz/rock/metal/alt guitar god(ess)? Works for that, too. It works because it's about using the most efficient, effective means to absorb and master the chosen topic. I have been playing, learning, and teaching guitar for 23 years. I have a B.A. in Guitar Performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. and I love to teach. My clean, professional studio is well equipped and in a convenient location. And for all you parents, I have a comfortable private waiting room with wifi available (naps, clearing inboxes and netflix are all encouraged). Get in touch and we’ll figure out the best way to get you learning. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I have been teaching voice privately for eight years, and I have also taught voice for two different colleges for a total of four years. I enjoy working with unique talents and developing your voice into the best one it can be.

In addition to the prestigious institutions that I have attended, I have also had the opportunity to teach many clients. One of my greatest experiences and proudest moments was being selected to be a professor's assistant at my University, which meant I would be lecturing a course to freshman students regarding important, difficult concepts. In addition to the students I have fought before this, I was able to greatly improve my lecture and teaching ability at the university level, and regularly receive feedback from established professors at the University.
I have spent the last 40 years as a professional musician touring around the world with various artists. I have spent a lot of time learning to play, as well as the music theory that goes with it. As I have been teaching for some years now, I take the time to give each student the direction and instruction he/she may need to accomplish the goal they wish to achieve.
Blues, ragtime, slide, alternate tunings, chords, electric and acoustic -- I can teach it all to you. You'll even be able to read music after the first day.
