Dimitri and his crew did a fantastic job on the project. I had a few rooms to paint and do accent walls. The crew was methodically and well prepared on every aspect. Their prep work and clean up after the work was done was beyond expectations. I would highly recommend them and this company to anyone and everyone looking for such a professional owner and crew.

Dimitri, the owner of Cut and Roll Painting, is a very nice, personable young man. He quoted me $1,600 on the phone to stain my deck. When he came out he raised the price to $1,900 which I agreed to. I never received a written contract which I asked for twice. That was one of my mistakes. My wife and I picked out a stain from the samples he provided. However, the stain did not come out anywhere close to what it looked like on the sample. It was much lighter than what we wanted and much lighter than what we previously had. We told him that we wanted it darker than our present stain. We did complain to him and he came back out to look over the project. He kept telling us that we were the ones who picked out the stain, so it was our fault. He did offer to restain it at a reduced rate but we never got that far. We felt it was best for both parties to go our separate ways. As I stated earlier, very nice young man but I cannot recommend him for other jobs. I have other painting that needs to be done, but I would not go with him. Both my wife and I are not satisfied clients and out $1,900.

I apologize for shaking your hand and doing a word of mouth deal, I’m sorry the Estimate Document was never sent to your email for you to have, the deal was made very quickly. Thank you for helping me understand just how important having things documented is. However, I did not ever say it was your fault. As a Painting Business we are responsible for putting on the color selected by the client and doing it properly, and that we did. Unfortunately, we can’t do work for free, if we could in order to make you happy we 100% would, but we all need to make an honest living in today’s day. I don’t think it is fair for you to say you are out $1,900.00, because we did our job to the best of our abilities and provided a good service. I understand your displeasure with the Stain Color, but this does not mean we have to re-stain the entire deck for free because you do not like the color you selected for us to apply. I am so so very sorry that you are this disappointed, if we can do anything to help you in this manner we will kindly do so. Thank you so much for your time and working with us. Well, got a painter to come out to job site and was supposed to get a quote by email the week after. It’s now been almost 2 weeks since meeting with him and haven’t gotten a quote or a message letting us know anything. He also couldn’t tell me a ballpark of how much paint or what the price may be, which lead me to believe he didn’t really know what he was talking about. I can’t honestly rate this pro well, as much as I hate leaving bad reviews.
