After recently moving to Charlotte I decided to take up violin lessons again, I'm a very novice beginner. Eric has been a wonderful instructor, and is enthusiastic about what he teaches. He's very good at explaining the nuances of why and how you do certain things while still helping with the "big picture". He is my third instructor and I finally feel like I'm learning a lot and learning it correctly.

My daughter Jilayla started piano lessons the end of last year and I am amazed at how much she has flourished and her love for music. She's so excited when it's time for her lessons. Brother Demetrius makes learning the piano fun & is careful to stay on her level without overwhelming her. He praises and encourages her often, she loves the class & I'm thankful for his great teaching.

My children have been taking piano lessons with 7Keys Music for about 6 months now and are doing very well. We all enjoy our teacher, Yekaterina. She is patient with the children yet firm when it is necessary. It is a pleasure to have her in our home each week. Crystal, the owner, has worked with me to accommodate our schedule and make changes when necessary. She is always kind and prompt in responding to me. We are very pleased with 7Keys Music and will continue to use them for our musical instruction.

I have know Peter for 10 years as a classical violinist and as a fiddler in a blue grass band. He is very skilled and technical in many music styles. He doesn't just enjoy playing the violin, but enjoys what the violin does and the essence of the instrument. Because of the variety in his talents and passion, he makes an excellent teacher and offers perspective that you won't find in other teachers.

I am a violin teacher for ages 4-12. I teach Suzuki style with lots of extra songs like folk tunes, hymns, classical, and fiddle. I love teaching kids, and being able to help them learn. I play lots of games that help memory, and are also fun to do! Lessons are a half-hour long. I am a freelance video editor as well. In 2013 I graduated with a degree in Film Studies from Southeaster University. If you are interested in having a project you have filmed put together in a clear and concise way, definitely contact me!

I've been playing fiddle and violin for over fourteenyears, and I am in two bands. One is with my brother and sisters (we've been featured on TV shows and newspaper articles); the other is with the world-famous WBT Briarhoppers, the longest-lived folk band in the world. I offer fiddle lessons a short distance from uptown Charlotte. I teach primarily by ear and tablature. My specialty is folk, bluegrass and country, though I can teach any genre. 30, 45 or 60 minute lessons once a week (or once every other week), dependent on preference. Prices are $30, 45 and 60 respectively. Please contact me if you have any questions! Thanks!
