Shaun did a fantastic job sanding and staining our wood floors! We needed his services on very short notice, and he was able to start and finish the job within our timeframe. We had around 1000 square feet of floors to refinish in our home, including a flight of stairs, and it was completed in about 7 days total. He was always quick to respond to questions, and is clearly very knowledgable about his profession. I highly recommend him if you want someone who is easy to work with and provides a very high quality service.

Shaun refinished 1,700 square feet of wood flooring on our main level. The floors turned out great. He mixed a custom stain color for us when none of the off the shelf colors were quite right. He started and completed the floors on time. He is professional and has an easy going (no pressure) personality. His equipment removed the bulk of the dust from our home through a vacuum system (from our past experience this dustless option is best). His pricing is fair and he goes the extra mile to do quality work. For example, our flooring was prefinished and had a wide v groove between boards. He took the time to sand out the entire groove and fill the gaps between boards with wood filler by skim coating the flooring and then sanding of the excess. I was skeptical of how this would look, but the difference was incredible. I will never have a wood floor refinished without this step. Shaun also installed and finished wood flooring in one of our closets. This turned out great as well.

I really lucked out! I'm from Kansas and didn't know a flooring installer here in Winston. Shaun Miller was amazing. I happen to be a woodworker myself, so I could really appreciate his attention to detail. He was also dependable and showed up during the show storm when nothing else was moving and he worked all day until about 6 pm. He was always professional and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely hire again.

Well, my new floors were finished up this past Monday. Let me just say this. In a society which all too often falls flat on its face in areas such as customer service and professionalism, Miller Custom Hardwood Flooring was a sweet breath of fresh air. I have in the past, had the misfortune of hiring more than my fair share of substandard contractors. Fortunately, this time I found Miller Custom Hardwood Flooring. When it comes to ensuring that their customers needs are met, they pass that test with flying colors and stand head and shoulders above the rest. Shaun and his men were not only punctual and prompt when they said they would be here, they were also very respectful and courteous of our home. There was also a minor ordering issue with our flooring that arrived, through no fault of theirs. Although the problem that arose, caused them unnecessary work, lost time, and an additional days work, I never once heard them complain about any of it. They went above and beyond to rectify the situation. They saw to it that we were 100% satisfied with the job, which we certainly are. We could not have asked for, or expected, a nicer bunch of professionals in our home. The quality of their workmanship is wonderful, and we would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to have flooring professionally installed. Thank you once again for a job well done gentlemen.

    I needed a job to support my family so i called my highschool wrestling coach and he gave me a job doing floors and i enjoy doing the work

    Most already have hardwood in there homes and need a refinish

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    When it comes to sanding and refinishing a lot of people only put two coats of poly on it looks and holds up a lot better with three coats
