- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am In-Network for clients with Aetna, BCBS, Anthem EAP, CBHA, and American Behavioral insurances, and only collect copay/coinsurance for any session. The following rates are for clients who do not have insurance with Aetna/BCBS/CBHA/American Behavioral: Intake Assessment (first session), lasting approximately 1 hour--$150. One-hour sessions (after the Intake Assessment)--$100. Intensives are offered to individuals, couples, and families who wish to accomplish a deeper level of work that is sometimes needed for complex issues--90 minute Intensive is $150 (Intensives longer than 90 minutes are billed at the hourly rate of $100/hour). Therapy can also be provided in your home--please contact me for more information. If teletherapy (online therapy) is appropriate for your situation, I also provide that service to clients who live in NC.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide free phone/email consultations to help clients determine if we may be a good fit to work together. If we decide to move forward, I am usually able to schedule the first session within a week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
EDUCATION: earned Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2007, earned Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in 2012. TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: I have extensive experience working with couples (communication, conflict management, rebuild trust, reconnect), couples affected by one partner's ADHD, and families affected by Autism.
