We have a 130 year old house that has been updated in a piecemeal fashion. Throughout the house there is galvanized pipe, copper, PVC, and PEX. Until today there was also cast-iron.
I recently went into the basement and noticed that the cast-iron main line was dripping rust onto the floor in spots. I immediately reached out to several plumbers on Thumbtack. Luke with LG Plumbing responded almost immediately. He looked at the photos I had included and decided it would be better if he came out to see the issue firsthand. About two hours later, he was examining the basement and writing up a detailed plan with very fair pricing.
We scheduled for him to return about a week later. (To be fair, he was ready to come back in just a couple of days, but I was unavailable.) He arrived on time and completely replaced the failing cast-iron in about half a day.
Luke will be my go to contact for any plumbing issues we have in the future.

I'm master plumber in NC by trade and I believe in continuing education and always keep up myself with plumbing related training, books reading. I also have earned Rinnai Tankless Watee Heater , Certified Pro Certificate as well beside my Master Plumber License P1.
