My name is Jonathan, and I’m the owner of Barbosa Hardwood Floors. I specialize in hardwood floor sanding, refinishing, wood installation, laminate, and LVP installation. I’ve been in this trade since 2016 and have over 10 years of hands-on experience delivering high-quality flooring services across the Charlotte area.
I take pride in every project — my focus is always on quality, not shortcuts. I never cut corners, even when the easier way might be cheaper. My clients appreciate my honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail, and many of them hire me again or refer me to their friends and family.

Barbosa Flooring did a great job installing our LVP quickly and at a competitive price. There were a couple areas where floor leveling was needed and a kitchen island that needed to be moved. Barbosa Flooring provided an excellent electrician to help with the kitchen island. Great communication throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Jonathan and his crew did an excellent job on our home. They were professional, efficient, and attentive to detail throughout the project. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I schedule a quick visit to inspect the floors and discuss the client’s goals. After that, I provide a detailed written estimate, explaining every step of the process. Once the project is approved, I coordinate everything — from preparation and sanding to staining, finishing, and cleanup — making sure the client is updated along the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training comes from years of hands-on experience working with all types of wood floors — solid, engineered, and luxury vinyl. I’ve worked alongside some of the most skilled installers and refinishers in North Carolina, and I stay up to date with new techniques and materials to ensure top-quality results for every client.
