I had an inaccessible external drive full of family photos. My initial attempt to recover this drive was with a large recovery company in town who shipped my drive to another company who wanted to charge more than my mortgage. That company later reduced their fee by half when I couldn’t afford it. It was still out of my realm of possibility. I found Jim via Thumbtack. He was knowledgeable about the brand of drive I had, honest about the chances of recovery and extremely helpful in offering options for preventing future problems. He was able to fully recover my data and provide a more dependable drive for storage. He also recommended numerous other options for technological improvements in our home and with our systems based on our needs.

Jim is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I had snapped my thumbdrive and was in need of data recovery services. He actually came to my house to conduct this service. He also gave advice regarding different cloud services I could use in the future so that I do not end up in this situation again. I offer reasonable pricing structures that fit the job requirements. My bench fee for laptops and desktops is about half that of the big yellow tag retail chain. Hourly rates also available.
