John is awesome! He is detailed and has great ideas to help you accomplish your project with a "can-do" attitude. We wanted to replace our front door with a new slab to protect the detailed framing's character and original transom window. After numerous big door chains said they couldn't do a slab install and wanted thousands more to destroy the transom, I got connected with John through Thumbtack. He arranged the purchase of a beautiful door slab, installed it, and it looks awesome! He touched up the original frame, drilled the new door, prepared the hinges, bore the holes for hardware, installed the hardware, and hung the slab FLAWLESSLY. He allowed us to accomplish the look we wanted for thousands less. You won't regret working with John. He is an all around good guy.

John was very professional, punctual, fairly priced and had great work quality. John cut and lowered my breakfast bar so that when my new countertops are installed I was have a much larger island ! Cant wait for the countertops to arrive. I would hire John again in a heartbeat.
