- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My team and I are constantly working to stay on top of our game! And to explore all the wonderful changes and trends in our industry. This year our design team will be visiting the Potomac Flower Show in DC for a symposium by Rene Van Reems; participating in a design workshop with Hitomi Gilliam at Teleflora Headquarters in Oklahoma City and attending Wedding MBA in Las Vegas. Additionally, our social media guru Nikki attends local workshops and takes almost weekly webinars on how we can best serve our client's needs through new technology.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family is in the florist business, so I have been around it all my life. I am a third generation florist following in the footsteps of my father and grandmother. My husband is also a third generation florist with his mother and grandmother having been in the industry.
