If you are, then I can be a big help. I am a landscape and garden designer. I'm also a landscape master gardener and horticulturalist with 27 years experience in my profession. I'm a former owner of a growing nursery and landscape company in SE, NC, and the coastal plain of SC. I have managed the landscape division of several companies in the Raleigh area, including Agronomics Consultants, Inc., All-Green Lawncare and Landscaping, and True-Green/Chemlawn, before going back into business on my own. One of my loves is working with urban gardens that are more than just the "builder's special" type landscape, but is designed to be an extension of both the home and the homeowner, as a place of beauty that can be enjoyed at all times, enticing it's owner to enjoy the beauty and peace of the garden throughout the year. The objective of my service, is to work closely with those who can do the work, by designing the landscape or garden, tailoring the garden to the personality of the client and home's architecture, then teaching the client how to install it and maintain the garden, and consulting in overseeing the installation of the garden to whatever extent is needed, as well as saving the client, not only the labor cost, but also saving on the costs of plant materials through the purchase of plants from the wholesale venders I do business with.
