What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees begin at $3,500 for local speaking engagements.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we make sure I'm a good fit for their audience. I'll ask about what they would like the outcomes of my program to be. I may send them topic outlines and other information to review. Once we get the details worked out, I send a simple Letter of Agreement and request a deposit of 1/2 of the speaking fee. I try to make working with me as easy and painless as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a CSP - Certified Speaking Professional certification and am required to attend conferences and other training events to maintain this certification. I also hold an MBA.
