Introduction: Our team of employees is made up of individuals you can trust and here's why... Each employee we hire comes to us in the form of a referral. That person passes a background check and a very extensive interview process. Then, we take them around on a few client calls and ask prospective clients how they feel around the individual. We pride ourselves on the fact that nearly 100% of our team is COLLEGE EDUCATED. Not a must by any means, however, we have found, these individuals are great when it comes to conversation, and ensuring your belongings and family is safe!
There are a few big differences in our quote and other moving companies.
1-We use dedicated trucks. Nothing is on the box truck except your items. This gets your belongings to you as fast as legally possible.
Our competitors use semis, the big 18-wheelers. They will have between 5-8 different moves on the semi at the same time. This is why they can't guarantee a specific delivery date. With a competitor, your belongings could take 7-14 days for delivery.
2-Our rate is a flat rate quote. The price doesn't change. We do not go by weight. We charge by the size of the truck.
Our competitors all charge by weight. They give you one price and then demand more money after they load their truck and weigh it. They can quote $1,800. Then after they weigh the truck, it could be $2900.
I highly recommend reading as many online reviews on anyone that you are considering.

We used EkoMovers for an out of state move. They were punctual to pick up our household goods and punctual to deliver. I would highly recommend them and their pricing is the best out there.

VA to CA move. They helped load all our boxes and furniture + piano. We did all the packing, but movers stretch-wrapped and cushioned furniture and more!. Exceptional moving experience. Randy did a great job with communicating and coordinating the move - understanding both our budget and time constraints. Aaron was equally great with the initial assessment and pre-move advice. The movers (Dustin (foreman) and Michael) also did an exceptional job packing and unpacking. They had a third person to help loading as well. They took better care of the piano than the local piano movers (from the piano company). Showed up promptly at scheduled time on both ends. End-to-end, every individual we worked with was professional, polite, courteous and clearly experienced. All estimates (timing, cost, required packing material, etc) were impressively accurate. Everything was beyond expectations. I could not imagine how the experience could have been better. This will be our first choice next time we move.

If location is the first 3 rules of real estate, then communication should be the first laws of moving. I did my very best to keep open lines of communication with the moving company. Even speaking with the owners to ensure that the movers showed up fully prepared with tools, Dolly's, and enough personnel. Moving is a team effort. So when the movers forgot things at my house I returned them to them later. The movers initially showed up promptly, ready to move & were very professional. I tried to be accurate with all the things we needed moving so the 26 ft truck wouldn't be overflowed. They did a really good job packing, shrink wrapping & moving my furniture onto the truck. I like that they don't use 18 wheelers because it was much easier to access my house & move it to another state quicker. Due to weather they weren't able to get the truck to my new place within 3 days but 4. Which I'd rather they be safe than have an accident. Somehow though my furniture got soaking wet. I don't know if there was a leak in the truck or not. Thank God my sofa & dinning room set dried out because it didn't seem like they are too eager to reimburse for damaging any of my stuff. The other thing that could've been better was they left some of my wood furniture in the garage in Texas where the heat can damage it. I had to find help to remove it. If they work on those couple of things I think they could obtain 5 stars. Thanks Ekomovers for moving my home safely.

Great communication, good and prompt service, quality crew and very competitive rates.
Would use EkoMovers again in a heartbeat and immediately referred them to inlaws who were moving. They, too, were happy with the service.
