I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel like people should know what to expect when dealing with this company. I reached out to KHAN Services last minute to help with some final moving tasks. Before hiring, I specifically asked for the price. The response I got was “$55 an hour / helper.” To me, that meant $55 per hour total, including a helper. I agreed, since I had already done most of the heavy work, rented my own truck, and just needed a few last things handled. When they arrived, I later found out I was charged $55 per person, per hour doubling the rate I was quoted. My son, who is only 18, was left in charge when I had to step away, and he ended up paying over $500 instead of the $250 we had discussed. I texted the company respectfully about the misunderstanding and concerns, but they never responded. On top of the billing issues, the actual service was very poor: • They did not finish the job my kids were at the old house until 3–4 a.m. waiting while my son tried to finish what was left. • They left both the front and back doors wide open, letting flies and bugs inside. • Several of my items were damaged, including my daughter’s vanity, light bulbs, and pieces of furniture. • They showed no professionalism or care, and no follow-up when I raised these concerns. At the end of the day, this company felt more interested in getting money than in providing quality service. Be very careful before hiring them, and make sure you get everything in writing and clarified upfront.
