We had a great experience with Oak City Moving with our recent move from Cary to Bullock! My husband originally envisioned that he and our 17-year-old son could move the furniture we had stored in Cary and Durham solo. Closer to move date, I began to imagine the stress, angst and exhaustion such a feat would bring and convinced him it'd be worth hiring movers. (It didn't take much convincing after I painted a picture of how move day was apt to unfold. LOL) I worried we wouldn't find a quality mover available on such short notice, but from my first call with James, I knew we were in good hands. He coordinated all the logistics (included ) and put our mind at ease, even when I added a couple of last minute changes. Communication was an A+. Our move day crew consisted of two movers, Chad and D. They were both professional and conscientious as they loaded and unloaded our belongings. They took great care to avoid damage and even helped us assemble a bed. I wish I had photos to share. Alas, I didn't think to snap any amidst the move, but suffice it to say that we know who we're calling to handle our moving tasks in the future. It was well worth the expense! After seeing how big an undertaking it was, hubby said he was crazy to suggest we do it ourselves.
